Vulnerability

Is it really necessary to confront the very issues in your life that will cause you to dig deep, break down and face your fear? These are the questions we ask ourselves as we deal with the issues of our heart. We don’t like to admit that we are flawed. We especially don’t like to admit it to others. It brings a vulnerability that scares us to pieces. But why? Did you realize that often times it’s our own thoughts about our weaknesses that kill us way more than what another may say?

Perhaps we think others will think the same things that we do, but guess what? That doesn’t matter. What matters is that we be vulnerable with ourselves. That we keep our eyes open to the beauty within. What matters is that we don’t let fear be an excuse.

There’s nothing more freeing than loving yourself with flaws and all and being okay with the fact that you will fall. Just make sure you get up. And when it comes to opening your heart, even the broken pieces with another person, remember not to allow your perception to hinder you. Don’t always expect a negative result. Don’t predict your failure. The beautiful thing about vulnerability is the fact that it produces change.

Once you’re no longer allowing your emotions to control you, you’re able to push through toward your destiny. And most of all you will turn your weaknesses into your greatest strength once you face it, change and share the result with another.

I believe you each have a seed ready to grow but you first have to get out of your shell to find the sun and the rain needed to help it blossom.
