I Am Not Strong,I Am Human

Strength- Black women are referenced as “strong.” so often that it covers up our real needs, when will we stop to see black women as simply human, capable of feeling pain, like everyone else. Deserving of compassion, deserving of a break, deserving of someone else to do the work instead of us always carrying it. We too, we get to be weak, vulnerable, and seen, like the rest of the world. We are not, everyone else’s savior, in fact, we deserve to just BE. To exist without any expectation. To be cared for without anything being wrong, simply because there are so many things right about who we are. That is the word of the day. #anywayBreonnaTaylor#SheIsMe
